International cooperation
Doctors Against Animal Experiments is actively cooperating with international alliances and networks.
Eurogroup for Animals
In 2019 we became a member of the Eurogroup for Animals. The primary focus of the only pan-European umbrella organisation for animal welfare is to improve animal welfare as quickly as possible by lobbying EU institutions to deliver better legislation and enforcement. We are a member of the working group 'Animals in Science'.
The European Coalition to End Animal Experiments (ECEAE)
Since 2007 we are a member of the European Coalition to End Animal Experiments (ECEAE), Europe's leading alliance peacefully campaigning on behalf of laboratory animals. Formed in 1990 to successfully campaign to ban cosmetics testing on animals, the ECEAE now leads campaigning on all animal experimentation issues in Europe. The ECEAE draws together organisations with a range of legislative, scientific and political expertise working with parliamentarians, Commission officials and EU citizens to effect change for laboratory animals.
InterNICHE - International Network for Humane Education
In the frames of our East Europe project we closely work together with InterNICHE, the International Network for Humane Education. The network aims for a high quality, fully humane education in biological science, veterinary and human medicine. The network supports progressive science teaching and the replacement of animal experiments by working with teachers to introduce alternatives, and with students to support freedom of conscience.
