Eastern Europe
In Eastern Europe there is a great potential to replace animal experiments and dissections in higher education with non-animal methods. Many university teachers are interested in modern, computer-assisted teaching methods. This way many animal lives can be saved directly. Mostly, however there is a lack of information and funds. We help to provide both.
Success in Ukraine
Six further institutes in L’viv, Luts’k, Simferopol, Kharkiv, Melitipol and Poltava turn to humane education. Every year 5,300 animals including frogs, rats, mice, guinea-pigs, rabbits and dogs will not be cruelly killed anymore. more

During another trip to Ukraine in March 2010, six new contracts were signed with the heads of academic institutes. more
Humane education in Perm, Russia
The State Pharmaceutical Academy in the Russian city of Perm from now on stops all animal labs and uses humane education tools only. The project was supported by Doctors Against Animal Experiments. more
